Maui, Hawaii and Saratoga, California, October 8, 2002 – MauiGames today announced that it has expanded its leadership team by adding Brad Fregger, former Director of Entertainment Software/Senior Producer for Activision, as MauiGames’ Executive Consultant for Game Development.

“Our agreement with TEAM Unlimited to develop video games based on the Xterra format of off-road multisport races, and the need to complete our management team, drove our decision to strategically expand the leadership,” said David Fradin, President, MauiGames. “Brad’s track record in identifying and developing game concepts with strong commercial appeal, his ability to forge and manage multi-platform development teams, and his understanding of the videogame industry is key to MauiGames’ success,” said Fradin.

Brad Fregger brings many years of experience in video game development corporate training, publishing, and software development to MauiGames. He was Director of Entertainment Software/Senior Producer for Activision during which he produced over 50 computer entertainment products, including Shanghai, which is the most successful computer game in the world, selling more units worldwide than any other computer game. Later he was CEO of Publishing International where he designed and published over 30 additional products, including Solitaire Royale the first computer card solitaire game in the world. Later as VP of Product Development for Eclipse Entertainment, the team he managed developed the highly successful computer gold games, Jack Nicklaus 4 & 5.
